| Okay, so my soon to be roommate :) Says i really need to update this thing. Its true. I am at school again and loving it... all except the homework. Why is it that everything is always due right at the end of the semester. I have been working my butt off this last week and I still have two more papers left to do. Big papers I might add. But after next week I will be done with homework, and compared to all the work I have been doing, finals will be a breeze. So since its been half a year since i last wrote (wow that's a long time) I will update anyone who reads these things. (Jessica, I think you may be the only one) I am an RA, helping with the baskteball team and taking 16 credits. So i am a very busy girl, but I am loving it, most of the time. This hasn't been the easiest semester of my life, but looking back I am so glad that God has taught me everything he did. Can I just take this moment to say how amazing our God is? He is absolutly incredible. We are finite beings with limited minds and cannot even begin to grasp who God is, but the things that he chose to reveal about himself in his word, never cease to amaze me. We serve an amazing, loving, awesome, mighty, holy, uncontainable, unfathomable God. How cool is that. Alright i am going to start on my belief statement for theology now.
That was for you Jess. ;) i can't wait till next semester my little fruit snack buddy.
| I am home for the summer and have already jumped into working. I have a good job (thank you God) but it is hard work. For those of you who don't know, I am working for my grandpa this summer on his ranch. My body needs to adjust to physical labor again because I have definitly gotten used to sitting on my bum all hours of the day studying my brains out. And believe me, it is a welcome change to be doing something different. I like school but feel really burnt out right now, but its summer time so I am going to stop talking about that now.
After getting done with school I flew down to Southern Cali to visit my wonderful friends at The Masters College. I had an awesome time!! The fellowship I have with all my ibex friends is increadible. They not only are great friends but always encourage me in my walk with God too. I truely have been blessed with some great friends.
So for now, I am going to enjoy my Saturday off.
| I love the springtime. After a long winter of Oregon rains it is so nice to see the flowers start to bloom and have sunny days here and there. And I absolutly love cherry blossom trees. They are so beautiful and smell so good and when the wind blows pretty white pettles just float through the air and decorate the sidewalks. So anyways, today is a goregeous day and its Friday and I just bought my ticket to go down to LA and visit my good friends at Masters so I am pretty excited. | | |
| Last night was one of our monthly dorm meetings and usually I am really not motivated to go but for some reason I wasn't dreading this one. It was our last dorm meeting of the year so it was a time of sharing about what people have learned over the school year and what God has been doing in peoples lives. It was so good, and exactly what I needed. It made me realize how awesome the people are here at WB and so thankful that I am a part of it all. I have been struggling lately with knowing if this is where God wanted me and it was a big reasurrance that yes, I am exactly where I am supposed to be. Then afterwards I had a great talk with a really good friend who I had been feeling I was drifting away from. It was so good to hear from her how much she appriciated my friendship. I have also been re-reading Lady in Waiting because, well, because I struggle in the waiting department. That book is so amazing. God has truely been working in my life the last couple of months. I am such a slow learner at times that I frustrate myself. But God is so good and He will continue to work in me until the day of my completion. | | |
| Well here is my first entry, just trying things out to see how they look. | | |
